About the Role
Pinnacle College Linden, under the ADvTECH Schools Division, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Visual Arts Teacher for Grades 8 to 12. The ideal candidate will be driven to deliver future-focused, engaging, and inspiring education that prepares learners for both academic success and life beyond school.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver creative and engaging Visual Arts lessons aligned with curriculum outcomes

Inspire and motivate students while fostering curiosity and artistic growth

Plan, assess, and report on student performance in line with academic standards

Support effective behaviour management and a respectful learning environment

Act as a brand ambassador for the school within the community

Maintain professional and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students, and parents

Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Visual Arts or related field

PGCE or B.Ed (FET) qualification
-
SACE registration and Police Clearance Certificate
-
2–5 years’ teaching experience in Visual Arts (Grades 8–12)

Experience with IEB curriculum is advantageous

Strong digital and computer literacy skills
