Role Summary:
We are seeking a caring and reliable Teacher’s Assistant to support the teaching team in fostering a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will assist with classroom routines, hygiene, play-based learning, and activity setup, contributing to the overall well-being and progress of the students.
Key Responsibilities:

Work from 07h30 to 16h00, with a late shift every other week until 17h30

Attend TA meetings and perform daily duties

Support toilet routines and assist with changing children/nappies (Stage 1 and 2)

Assist with classroom activities including setup, supervision, and clean-up

Support snack time routines and tidy learning/play areas daily

Set up and maintain playground equipment
-
Pack away educational resources such as books and puzzles
Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)

Legal right to work in South Africa

Good with children and attentive to their welfare

Time management and organizational skills
-
Ability to follow guidance and adapt to classroom needs

Computer literacy is a plus

Genuine care for child development and safety
