Position Overview
WHPS is seeking a Teaching Intern for their Grade 0000 Pre-Prep Class. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced educators to gain practical teaching experience while completing their Early Childhood Development (ECD) qualification.
Minimum Requirements

Enrolled in an accredited Early Childhood Development (ECD) programme (NQF Level 4 or 5 preferred)

Committed to completing studies while working

Experience with young children (e.g. babysitting, volunteering, or study-related practical hours)

Passionate, patient, nurturing, and caring
-
Fluent in English with strong communication skills

Energetic and physically capable of handling a busy classroom

Willingness to align with the school’s Christian ethos and values

First Aid training, or willingness to complete training early in tenure
-
Must have a clear criminal record and meet child protection compliance

Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
