Role Overview
The Technical Support Intern will assist the Service Desk Team in delivering quality IT support under the supervision of a senior engineer. You will gain hands-on experience in desktop support, network maintenance, and deployment of IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for computers, laptops, and printers

Maintain antivirus software and perform backups of critical systems

Conduct network maintenance and configure network devices

Set up laptops and other equipment for staff

Log, track, and follow up on IT support tickets

Assist in software installations, equipment deployment, and inventory management

Respond to technical support emails and calls
Requirements
Education:
-
Minimum: Grade 12
-
Studying towards an IT-related Diploma or Degree
-
Advantageous: Qualifications like A+, N+, AZ-900, AZ-104
Experience & Skills:

Experience installing, configuring, and setting up laptops and devices

Strong computer and application skills (Excel, Word, Stock Systems)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Problem-solving, proactive attitude, and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and in a team
