Purpose of the Job
Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on tractors and agricultural equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electronic diagnostics on tractors

Repair or replace faulty parts (engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, hydraulics)

Routine maintenance: oil, filters, belts, lubrication, engine adjustments

Keep accurate maintenance and repair records

Communicate with customers about repairs and maintenance

Provide guidance on safe operation and preventive maintenance

Assist with inventory, workshop organisation, and training new technicians

Attend training sessions to stay updated with technology and industry trends
Requirements

Completed Trade Test Certificate (Tractor, Motor, or Diesel)

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 5 years of experience with tractors or agricultural equipment

In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in tractors

Skills: reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams; communication; teamwork; physical capability; attention to detail
