About the Role
Tyger Valley College, part of the ADvTECH Group, is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to join its team for the Senior Phase (Grades 7–9).
The ideal candidate is passionate about inspiring creativity through music and committed to fostering a dynamic, supportive learning environment.
🎵 Playing the ukulele would be an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:

Plan, deliver, and assess an engaging and rigorous Music curriculum.

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must have:

A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) and PGCE or B.Ed (Senior Phase or FET).

SACE registration and a valid police clearance.

2–5 years’ teaching experience, preferably in Music or a related subject.

Digital literacy and familiarity with modern educational technologies.
-
First Aid certification (advantageous).

Ability to play the ukulele (advantageous).
