REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate

  • Experience: 0–6 months

Knowledge of:

  • Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations

  • UIF Contributions Act

  • PFMA, POPIA, Treasury Regulations

  • Batho Pele Principles

  • UIF and Department of Labour Policies and Procedures

  • Customer Care Principles

Skills:

  • Interviewing, communication (verbal and written)

  • Computer literacy, listening, and interpretation of UI legislation

  • Conflict and time management

  • Customer relations and telephone etiquette

  • Analytical and interpersonal skills

  • On-the-job training in operational systems


DUTIES:

  • Provide UIF benefit screening services

  • Process applications for UIF claims

  • Register continuation of payment forms

  • Execute administrative tasks
