Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / National Certificate

Code EC driver’s license with a valid PrDP

Minimum 3 years’ experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience driving Superlink / Interlink / combination vehicles
-
Defensive driving skills
-
Prepared to work weekends and public holidays
-
Knowledge of vehicle inspections, operating fire extinguishers, and emergency reporting
-
Experience in vehicle loading and offloading techniques
-
Ability to maximize vehicle efficiency and cost-effectiveness
-
Own reliable transport to and from work
-
Medically fit and clean criminal record
Duties & Responsibilities
-
Prepare vehicles for trips and operate ultra-heavy duty vehicles safely
-
Load, transport, and offload vehicles
-
Handle all required documentation and ancillary duties
-
Follow instructions from supervisors
-
Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
-
Maintain vehicles, uniform, and PPE in a clean and safe condition

Adhere to SOPs and safety procedures

Successfully complete:

Medical evaluation

USCS training modules
-
Induction processes
-
Practical driving evaluation

Verification of clean criminal record
