Programme Overview
Cerebos is urgently recruiting two Analytical Chemistry Interns for a 12-month programme at IDZ Coega. The role focuses on routine chemical analyses, solution preparation, equipment calibration, quality control, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct laboratory tests and analyse chemical samples accurately

Prepare and standardise chemical solutions

Calibrate and verify laboratory equipment daily

Record, report, and interpret results per SOPs
-
Perform product inspections to maintain quality standards
-
Dispose of waste according to SHEQ procedures
-
Monitor lab stock levels and maintain housekeeping
-
Participate in required training/meetings
-
Follow reasonable instructions to support operations
Minimum Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
-
National Diploma or Degree in Analytical Chemistry

Knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
