About the Position
St John’s College is seeking a dynamic and experienced English Teacher to join its Preparatory School from May 2026. The ideal candidate will inspire a love for language, literature, and learning, and demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, and excellence in classroom teaching.
This role requires a teacher who can foster curiosity, critical thinking, and confident communication among learners while contributing to the school’s supportive, values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Intermediate or Senior Phase).

Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching English at Preparatory level.

SACE registration (in good standing).
