About the Position
St John’s College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grade 4 Class Teacher (Lower II) to join its Preparatory School in 2026. Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote holistic development.

Teach the preparatory curriculum creatively, adapting lessons to meet individual learner needs.

Develop and update lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments aligned with curriculum goals.

Set clear learning objectives and provide constructive feedback to support learner progress.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learner reports.

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.

Engage in extracurricular activities such as sports and cultural programmes.

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support learner growth.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Intermediate or Senior Phase).

Minimum of 5 years’ classroom teaching experience.

Proven track record of excellence in Preparatory School education.

SACE registration (in good standing).
