Position: Part-Time Remedial Therapist
Start Date: January 2026
An opportunity exists for an exceptional Remedial Therapist to join the school on a part-time basis from 1 January 2026. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and parents to support learners with diverse learning needs and contribute to the school’s culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide small-group remedial lessons (±15 hours per week) for Grades 0–2.

Opportunity to teach conversational Afrikaans for Grades 1–2 (3 hours per week).

Conduct learner assessments and maintain accurate records.

Develop and implement individual therapy plans and classroom strategies.

Collaborate with the Head of Academic Support Unit on referrals and learner progress.

Offer one-on-one or private remedial sessions focused on literacy, numeracy, and key academic skills.
Qualifications & Experience:

Relevant qualification in Remedial Therapy.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Remedial Therapist in a school setting.

SACE registration is essential.

Afrikaans teaching experience will be an advantage.
