Overview:
This is a key leadership position reporting directly to the Head of the Preparatory School and forming part of the Preparatory Executive Management Team (EXCO). The role focuses on pastoral care, student development, and the co-curricular programme.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head of Preparatory in daily school operations

Contribute to strategic planning and policy development as an EXCO member

Lead the pastoral and house systems to reinforce the Christian ethos of the school

Oversee student well-being, leadership development, and behaviour management
-
Manage student discipline and enforce the school’s Code of Conduct
-
Design and lead a diverse co-curricular programme

Approachable, empathetic, and motivational leadership style

Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

Proven leadership experience

Alignment with the school’s Christian values and ethos
Qualifications & Experience:

Degree and/or diploma qualification in education with SACE registration
-
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in preparatory school education with proven leadership roles
