Key Responsibilities
-
Teach Physical Education to learners from Grade 00 to Grade 7
-
Manage and coordinate sports programmes across Grade 00 to Grade 12
-
Organise interschool sports festivals, fixtures and tours
-
Contribute to the extracurricular and pastoral programmes of the school
-
Uphold and model the Anglican ethos and values of St Mary’s DSG
-
Carry out duties required of both an educator and sports organiser
Requirements & Qualifications
-
A recognised academic and teaching qualification
-
SACE registration required
-
Certified coach in multiple sporting codes (especially Netball preferred)
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching and/or coaching
-
PDP licence advantageous
-
Clearance against the Sexual Offenders Register and Child Protection Register
-
Experience in the IEB curriculum will be an advantage
-
Strong knowledge and passion for a wide range of sporting codes
