Established in 1994 as a division of Uplands NPC, Uplands Outreach works collaboratively with school circuit managers, leaders, educators, and learners to raise achievement for all in Mpumalanga.

👤 Position: Programmes Manager
Uplands Outreach is seeking a dedicated and experienced Programmes Manager to lead and implement modern professional development initiatives in our partner school circuits.
✅ Key Responsibilities

Report directly to the Head of Uplands Outreach

Manage and implement professional development programmes
-
Build long-term relationships with schools and participants
-
Plan, create, and deliver impactful professional development content

Collaborate on budget management for programmes
-
Contribute to Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems

Prepare written reports for stakeholders

Provide mentorship to programme officers
🎓 Minimum Requirements
-
A relevant qualification in Education (School Leadership & Management qualification is advantageous)

Experience within the DBE environment is essential

Proficiency in English and Siswati (preferable)

Competency in MS Office and Google Suite (preferable)

Must be optimistic, innovative, resourceful, flexible, and a team player
