About the Internship

The Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team is Visa’s internal payments consulting arm, helping clients and partners grow and optimize their businesses. VCA consists of around 600 consultants and data scientists worldwide who work across areas such as strategy, digital transformation, portfolio management, risk, and product innovation.

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience supporting consulting projects, analyzing data, and developing insights to help Visa’s clients make informed business decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and research data relevant to consulting projects.

  • Perform data analysis using both internal and external data sources.

  • Develop actionable insights to support recommendations and strategic decisions.

  • Prepare client deliverables such as presentations, Excel models, and reports.

  • Support project teams in hypothesis development, conclusions, and client presentations.

  • Contribute to internal research initiatives, white papers, or client proposals.

  • Work across diverse industries and geographies within Visa’s Sub-Saharan Africa region.


Qualifications

  • Current bachelor’s or master’s student, graduating December 2026.

  • Available for a 3-month internship (June–August 2026).

  • Must be available to join full-time by January 2027.

  • Fields of study: Economics, Business, Finance, IT/MIS, or Engineering.

  • Excellent academic record.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

  • Confident, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
