About the Role
Volvo Trucks is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support its parts warehouse operations. The role ensures efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of parts while maintaining high standards of customer service, stock control, and compliance with Volvo procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving / Inbound

Receive goods according to Volvo procedures and record discrepancies in the GDS system.

Ensure correct binning of parts according to system allocations.
Outbound
-
Process customer orders with accurate picking, packing, and dispatch.

Ensure systems are updated and correct quantities dispatched.

Provide efficient support to workshop technicians.
Credit Notes
-
Check and process credit notes in accordance with procedures.

File all documentation correctly and ensure compliance with return standards.
Stock Control

Conduct daily perpetual counts and bin verifications.

Investigate and authorize adjustments before system updates.
Warehouse Maintenance
-
Keep warehouse neat, secure, and organized.

Ensure correct storage, timely waste collection, and secure perimeter.
Exchange Parts
-
Receive, store, and return exchange parts to suppliers according to standards.

Pack and label core parts accurately for return to PDC.
Health and Safety
-
Ensure all personnel adhere to Volvo’s health and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Matric / Grade 12.
-
Diploma in Warehouse Management or at least 3 years of warehouse experience.
