Role Overview:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing warehouse shift operations to ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Governance, and operational requirements. This includes overseeing inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with packaging and brewing processes, maintaining ERP accuracy, and driving KPI performance through problem-solving and reporting.


Key Outputs and Responsibilities:

Excellence Programs & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with VPO and DPO Excellence Programs.

  • Maintain territorial safety ownership within the warehouse.

  • Monitor fleet systems and driver behavior.

  • Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.

  • Comply with labor stacking exemptions and maximize warehouse capacity safely.

People Management:

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members.

  • Manage attendance, punctuality, leave, and overtime using SAP.

  • Ensure team members are informed on business processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Maintain positive industrial relations and human resources availability.

Quality Management:

  • Adhere to Food Safety policies.

  • Monitor repacking operations for quality and productivity.

  • Resolve stock discrepancies using problem-solving tools.

  • Conduct daily stock counts (finished goods, raw materials, empties).

Inbound & Outbound Logistics:

  • Verify completeness and accuracy of inbound and outbound loads in SAP, including RTP.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery escalations.

  • Reconcile warehouse numbers with packaging and brewing processes.

Warehouse Operations Oversight:

  • Sorting & Sampling: Ensure safety, productivity, and quality; analyze MBFU results.

  • Picking: Manage replenishment, productivity, picking accuracy, and safety.

  • Pallet Repairs: Supervise productivity, safety, and ERP documentation.

  • Breakages Management: Investigate and resolve issues.

  • Decanting & Overpacking: Oversee priorities, productivity, safety, and ERP transactions.

  • Ensure ERP transactions accurately reflect losses (breakages, inbound, sorting) for GL reconciliation.

5S & Continuous Improvement:

  • Conduct 5S audits and drive improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with LCA audits and ERP query management (GRIR/VIM).

  • Implement problem-solving routines (5 Why, Abnormality Reports, PDCA, OPLs).

General:

  • Liaise with internal and external customers.

  • Participate in shift handovers and manage team rooms for problem-solving and performance tracking.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-year diploma highly advantageous.

  • 3+ years of warehouse/logistics experience.

  • Proficient in SAP and advanced computer skills.

  • Strong planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage change effectively.

  • Coaching and team development capability.
