🏭 About the Position
Ecowize is seeking 4 motivated General Workers to join its Products Division in Montague Gardens. This role supports the manufacturing process through a mix of manual and semi-skilled tasks such as container cleaning, raw material weighing, staging, labelling, decanting, forklift operation, and general housekeeping.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

Clean and inspect returned containers

Prepare containers for reuse (derusting, checking for damage/leaks)

Weigh and pick raw materials; label and palletize for production

Label raw, intermediate, and finished goods correctly
-
Assist with blending and decanting of materials
-
Operate forklift (if licensed)
-
Maintain floor, workstation, and equipment cleanliness
-
Support machine cleaning, waste handling, and general factory tasks

Comply with all safety, hygiene, and GMP protocols

Exhibit teamwork, reliability, and flexibility in assigned duties
✅ Requirements

Minimum Grade 10

Forklift licence (advantageous)

6 months to 1 year factory/manufacturing experience

Basic knowledge of weighing equipment and materials handling

Physically fit and capable of manual labour

Ability to understand safety instructions and signage

Chemical industry experience is an advantage
