Job Overview
This is a YES Youth Opportunity for individuals passionate about sports and fitness! Join the Totalsports team at Idutywa Mall and gain valuable work experience in retail while contributing to the #HomeofSport. As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers, provide exceptional service, and support the team in driving sales and creating a high-performance store environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with product selection and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Promote sports and fitness products that inspire and motivate customers.

Maintain the store’s cleanliness, organization, and stock management.

Help achieve sales targets and contribute to the store’s success.

Support the team with store operations, including merchandising and inventory management.

Be a key part of creating a welcoming environment for customers.
Requirements

Aged between 18 and 28 years.

Matric (Grade 12) is preferred, but Grade 10 will be considered as the lowest qualification.

Available and willing to work a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Must not have been employed permanently with a single employer for more than 1 year.

Should not be studying full-time during the employment period (Aug 2025 – July 2026).

Not previously participated or been registered on the YES Programme.
