Feltex Automotive is seeking a Production Administrator to support production operations by managing data capture, stock control, order processing, and administrative functions within the manufacturing environment.
This role is essential for ensuring accurate production records, smooth operations, and effective coordination between departments.
📌 Key Responsibilities
📊 Production & Data Management
- Capture daily production output on MRP system
- Maintain accurate production records
- Assist with monthly stock takes
- Investigate and correct negative stock issues
- Assist planner with order capturing
📦 Order & Stock Control
- Enter and cancel customer orders
- Process requisitions (production, maintenance, administration)
- Generate work orders and credit notes
- Manage stock of production and delivery documentation
- Weekly stock count reporting
🤝 Supplier & Customer Relations
- Communicate with internal and external customers
- Liaise with suppliers and onboard new vendors
- Ensure vendor applications are correctly processed
- Attend meetings when required
🧾 Administrative Duties
- Invoicing and receipting
- Filing production documents
- Manage stationery stock
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures
- Generate reports and maintain system accuracy
🎓 Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 2 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Certificate or National Diploma in Administration (or related field)
