The role focuses on developing and managing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) systems across store operations to ensure full legal compliance and workplace safety.

You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing health & safety programmes
- Ensuring compliance with OHSA legislation
- Creating safety policies and procedures
- Coordinating health & safety training
- Appointing safety teams in stores (first aiders, fire fighters, reps)
- Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigating incidents and identifying root causes
- Maintaining safety records and databases
- Reporting safety performance to management
- Managing safety budgets

🎓 Minimum Requirements
To apply, you must have:
- A 3-year Degree or Diploma in Health & Safety Management (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Manager
- Experience in:
- Safety systems and procedures
- Retail environment (essential)
- FMCG / wholesale (advantageous)
