Al Baraka Bank is looking for a Sales Administration Assistant to support its Retail Division.

This role is ideal for someone interested in banking, finance, and administration, offering hands-on exposure to real banking operations, compliance processes, and client service.


🧠 Key Responsibilities

📂 Office Administration

  • Respond to internal and client emails
  • Request settlement figures and client statements
  • Handle settlement and account-related queries
  • Liaise with conveyancing teams for bond cancellations & document release
  • Request audit certificates and bank confirmations

📊 Sales Administration

  • Collect and submit FICA documents
  • Assist with UBO calculations and compliance processes
  • Handle debit order queries and updates
  • Support deal-related client queries
  • Process reimbursements and reconciliations
  • Ensure correct allocation of payments and deposits
  • Prepare and manage legal agreements and documents
  • Upload deal information to internal banking systems

📁 General & Back Office Support

  • Prepare payment packs and STC packs
  • Assist with vehicle and equipment deal documentation
  • Support consultants with daily admin tasks
  • Handle ad hoc duties from management

🎓 Minimum Requirements

  • ✅ Matric (Grade 12)
  • ➕ Diploma or Degree (Advantageous)

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a financial services environment
  • Banking experience is a strong advantage
  • Computer literacy required

📚 Knowledge & Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Intermediate)
  • Banking systems & procedures
  • Understanding of:
    • National Credit Act (NCA)
    • FICA regulations
    • Credit policies
  • Strong administrative & organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
