🧰 Duties
🧼 Cleaning & Biosecurity
- Clean workstations and dispose of infected materials safely
- Clean predator cages, stables, and animal holding areas
- Remove bedding and wash floors and walls of facilities
- Maintain strict biosecurity standards
🐾 Animal Care
- Care for quarantined animals and birds
- Provide correct food to animals in quarantine
- Monitor animal health and report issues immediately
- Record daily health parameters
- Assist with basic animal husbandry
🔥 Waste & Facility Management
- Operate incinerator and dispose of waste safely
- Clean premises and remove foreign objects
- Maintain quarantine grounds and gardens
- Mow lawns, trim vegetation, and maintain fences
🚧 Field & Support Work
- Inspect electric fences daily
- Assist with game capture operations
- Support clinical work and necropsies
- Assist in carcass incineration
- Carry tools and equipment as required
