🧰 Duties

🧼 Cleaning & Biosecurity

  • Clean workstations and dispose of infected materials safely
  • Clean predator cages, stables, and animal holding areas
  • Remove bedding and wash floors and walls of facilities
  • Maintain strict biosecurity standards

🐾 Animal Care

  • Care for quarantined animals and birds
  • Provide correct food to animals in quarantine
  • Monitor animal health and report issues immediately
  • Record daily health parameters
  • Assist with basic animal husbandry

🔥 Waste & Facility Management

  • Operate incinerator and dispose of waste safely
  • Clean premises and remove foreign objects
  • Maintain quarantine grounds and gardens
  • Mow lawns, trim vegetation, and maintain fences

🚧 Field & Support Work

  • Inspect electric fences daily
  • Assist with game capture operations
  • Support clinical work and necropsies
  • Assist in carcass incineration
  • Carry tools and equipment as required
