🧑🏫 Role Overview
Curro is looking for a teacher to deliver and coordinate subjects within the Cambridge curriculum. The role focuses on effective teaching, learner development, and fostering positive attitudes through structured and engaging methods.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons using modern teaching tools
- Track and measure learner progress and academic performance
- Adapt term plans and create customised learning support
- Manage classroom environment, discipline, and parent communication
- Organise and oversee assessments (formal & continuous)
- Plan homework, revision, and peer marking activities
- Coordinate extramural activities and outings
🎓 Requirements
- BEd or PGCE (Intermediate Phase)
- At least 2 years’ teaching experience
- Knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Problem-solving and report-writing ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Registered with SACE
- Clear criminal record
- Willingness to work extended hours
